I am writing you this thank you letter with great appreciation and respect. With the help of you and the Indian Support Association the pow-wow turned out to be a great success.
We look forward to next year as well as years to come . this years pow-wow helped strengthen our family one more time but as well as friendships across the world.
the Man Afraid Of His Horse family and personally myself Doreen Two Bulls ,would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts . You helped bring hopes and our culture to life one more time.
This years activities consisted of a Horseshoe Tournament that the Indian Suppoort association sponsored as well. wopila tanka, 3 places were given with a t-shirt . as well as many honorings ,songs dance and making of relatives took place through out the 2-day pow-wow. Over 150 people were fed and served and many appreciation gifts were giving out through out the crowd.(Give away) We had a couple there from new zealand , new york , pueblo nation, and many others locally and out of state , and of course Norway where our good hearted friend and brother comes from
Mr.Olav Red Heart.
It was a great turn out !!
Family and friends pulled together as well as the community to work together for our great celebration and feast.
Again Olav Red Heart and the Indian Support Association truley helped make a difference.
We Lakotas dont have much money to repay with but were sure rich with culture and would like to help teach you if we can.
We hope to meet you in the future and wopila tanka to all Indian Support members . We continue looking forward to working with you and invite you to up comming future projects.
